Found Local Co. is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Mary and Ed Walker. Together, they combine complementary skill sets to meet clients exactly where they are in their growth journey. From psychology and marketing to in-depth IT and technical expertise, their diverse backgrounds allow them to approach each business with both strategy and empathy.
At the core of everything they do is a dedication to building real relationships. Mary and Ed believe that meaningful growth happens when clients feel understood, supported, and confident in the direction they are headed, and they bring that belief into every partnership.
Hi, I’m Mary Walker—co-owner of Found Local Co., lifelong learner, and proud mom of five incredible kids (ages 22, 19, 18, 16, and 14). Family, connection, and meaningful work are at the heart of everything I do.
I hold Master’s degrees in both Digital Marketing and Psychology, a combination that allows me to blend strategy with a deep understanding of human behavior. This background helps me meet business owners where they are—understanding not just what they want to grow, but why it matters to them.
My husband, Ed, and I are also the owners of Simplified SEO Consulting, a successful SEO company that has been serving clients since June of 2018. Through years of hands-on experience helping businesses grow online, we saw a clear need for ethical, effective local SEO support explicitly tailored to local and service-based businesses. Found Local Co. was created to meet that need.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me crocheting intricate patterns, reading a good book, or watching football—I’ll happily admit I’m more than a little obsessed with the game. Life with five kids has taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of showing up fully for the people and work that matter most.
At my core, I believe in balance, honest communication, and building genuine relationships. I’m passionate about helping local businesses grow in ways that feel aligned, sustainable, and human—because real success isn’t just about being found online, it’s about building something that truly lasts.

Hi, I’m Ed Walker—Navy veteran, lifelong data geek, and co-owner of Found Local Co.
I bring more than 30 years of experience in IT, analytics, and systems management to our work, and I genuinely love digging into data. Numbers, spreadsheets, reports, and analysis are where I thrive—because data tells a story, and it helps businesses make smarter, more confident decisions.
Alongside Mary, I also co-own Simplified SEO Consulting, a successful SEO company that has been helping businesses grow online since June of 2018. At Found Local Co., my role focuses on the technical, operational, and data-driven side of the business—making sure systems run smoothly, insights are actionable, and strategies are grounded in real performance, not guesswork.
While I may be known for data and operations, I believe just as strongly that businesses are built by people. Creating efficient systems matters, but so does building a culture that values the humans behind the work. Growth should be strategic, sustainable, and never at the expense of integrity.
Outside of work, I’m a husband, stepdad to five incredible kids, and an unapologetic animal lover. Our household is officially run by four dogs and a tortoise—and they’re very confident about it. I’m also proudly geeky, whether that means gaming, analyzing data for fun, or building spreadsheets no one asked for.
At the end of the day, I believe in data-driven decisions, thoughtful strategy, a good sense of humor, and the idea that businesses can grow successfully while still treating people like people.
